Description 

When transporting cells in the culture medium, cells may come off unless the medium is fully filled in the flask. However, it requires high cost to do it. iP-TEC Flask-25, a specially designed flask, decreases medium volume without changing its incubation area.

After incubating iPS cell, when transporting in live condition, there is a risk that culture medium in flask get crisped and cell scaled. By filling a flask with culture medium it can be transported in safety without undulating. Yet, this will make the amount of culture medium increase and cost more with the conventional flask. To solve this, we created the revolutionary form which minify the amount of culture medium without changing its incubation area.

For live transport of iPS cells, the flask must be filled with culture medium to prevent cell detachment due to shaking. iP-TEC® flask-25 series has the same area of culture as a common flask, but requires 50% or less of culture medium to fill, saving the cost of culture medium.

What is live transport?
This method enables the “ready-to-use” transport of iPS cells and other cells without freezing them. When cells are frozen during transport, transport can be made in a stable condition; however, there is a risk that cells may be damaged or destroyed in the return to an active state, as well as loss of time, labor costs and costs incurred for chemical agents.
Live transport provides a positive outlook in solving such problems.

We solve problems about self-adhesive film cover. This cover does not use adhesive, you do not have to worry touching risk culture medium. *Possible to smooth open, we can avoid contamination risk also.
