Induces apoptosis through a reactive oxygen species (ROS) -mediated mitochondrial pathway. Has antiangiogenic and anticancer properties. Exhibits selective cytotoxicity against several cancer cell lines. Inhibits TNF-α-induced NF-κB activation and is a potent suppressor of angiogenesis in vitro.
