Description
Retinoic acid-related orphan receptor beta (RORb, RRZRB; NR1F2) is a member of orphan nuclear receptor. RORa is expressed in brain, eye, spinal cord and pituitary. Deatail analysis i the brain shows expression found in the pineal gland, hypothalamus and thalamus. RORb appears to have a role in the regulation of circadian rhythm and proessing sensory information.
Origin
Produced in BALB/c mouse ascites after inoculation with hybridoma of mouse myeloma cells (NS-1) and spleen cells derived from a BALB/c mouse immunized with Baculovirus-expressed recombinant ROR beta (134-233 aa) .
Notes
Sodium azide may react with lead and copper plumbing to form explosive metal azides. Flush with large amounts of water during disposal.
