Description: 

The translation buffer can only be used in combination with our wheat germ extracts WEPRO®7240/WEPRO®7240G/WEPRO®7240H and Transcription Buffer LM! The translation buffer SUBAMIX® SGC is provided as a set of four different 40 times stock solutions (S-1, S-2, S-3, S-4).

To prepare 40 ml of 1x SUB-AMIX® SGC translation buffer, add 1 ml of each S-1 through S-4 stock solution to 36 ml of nuclease-free water (*) while stirring the solution. DO NOT mix the stock solutions directly as the amino acids will precipitate. To avoid multiple freeze-thawing cycles, subdivide 1x SUB-AMIX® SGC translation buffer into appropriate aliquots before storing them at -20°C.

Note (*): We DO NOT recommend homemade DEPC treated water.

Shipment and Storage

Our products are shipped on dry ice. Store the reagents at -20°C upon arrival. The reagents are temperature sensitive and should be always stored in a freezer at -20°C. Keep reagents on ice while using them at the bench. Avoid unnecessary freeze/thawing.
