Description:

Reconstitution is the process of adding a liquid diluent to a powder to create a usable solution. In this specific case, the reconstitution solution contains NaCl, KCl, dextrose, HEPES, MgCl2, and CaCl2, adjusted to a pH of 7.3. Sodium chloride provides osmotic balance, potassium chloride maintains proper ionic strength, dextrose serves as an energy source for cells, HEPES acts as a buffering agent to maintain pH, magnesium chloride provides magnesium ions for cellular processes, and calcium chloride supplies calcium ions for cellular functions. This balanced solution is designed to provide optimal ionic conditions and maintain cellular stability. The careful preparation ensures the correct concentration and maintains the integrity of the medication or biological material, with attention to factors such as volume, mixing technique, and storage conditions.

Quality Control:

  • DNase activity: None was detected after incubation of plasmid DNA, and this product was used for 18 hours at room temperature.
  • RNase activity: No RNase activity was detected after incubation of ribosomal RNA and this product for 18 hr at room temperature.

CUSTOMIZATION:  Please INQUIRE if other concentrations, additions of other tracking dyes, different pH, and modifications are needed.

All DiagnoCine Precision Sterile buffers are filtered-sterilized with a 0.1-micron filtration two times and 0.04-micron filtration one time. Thus, mycoplasma contamination is prevented.  The smallest size mycoplasma type can be about 0.2 microns.
