This is the first "synthetic medium series for porcine in vitro fertilized egg (embryo) production" in Japan, consisting of medium for porcine egg maturation, medium for in vitro fertilization, medium for embryo development, etc.
This is an innovative medium based on the concepts of "high egg maturation rate, normal fertilization rate, embryo development rate," "production of high-quality embryos," "highly safe medium with known ingredients," and "prepared liquid medium."

Features
- It includes the "Repro Plate," a culture plate that is ideal for egg maturation culture, in vitro fertilization, and fertilized egg embryo culture.
- This is a synthetic medium with known ingredients that does not contain animal biomaterials.
- When blastocysts are cultured in Porcine Late Embryo Culture Medium (PBM), the survival rate, hatching rate, and proliferation efficiency are all higher than in Porcine Embryo Development Medium (PZM-5), and the frequency of apoptotic cells is reduced (see figure below).

Basic kit for culture medium for in vitro fertilized pig eggs production
Even under low-oxygen culture conditions (5% O 2 / 5% CO 2 / 90% N 2 , 39°C), transferable embryos (blastocysts) can be produced efficiently without co-culture with cumulus/granulosa cells.
Complete kit for porcine in vitro fertilized egg production
This product is a set of the basic kit above and porcine late embryo culture medium (PBM). It is effective in increasing the cell count of blastocysts and forming escaped blastocysts, allowing you to efficiently produce high-quality embryos (blastocysts).
