Description
TLX (TLL, MTLL, Tailless; NR2E1) is a member of orphan nuclear receptor which is related to the Drosophila tailless gene. TLX transcripts become limited to the developing brain including the optic lobes. TLX has putative roles in proliferation or survival mechanisms in neuronal development.

Origin
Produced in BALB/c mouse ascites after inoculation with hybridoma of mouse myeloma cells (NS-1) and spleen cells derived from a BALB/c mouse immunized with Baculovirus-expressed recombinant human TLX (81-180 aa).
Note
Sodium azide may react with lead and copper plumbing to form explosive metal azides. Flush with large amounts of water during disposal.
