Origin
Produced in culture supernatant from hybridoma of mouse myeloma cells (NS-1) and spleen cells derived from a BALB/c mouse immunized with Baculovirusexpressed recombinant human LGI-1 (193-233 aa) .
Description
LGI-1 is the protein predominantly expressed and secreted in neural tissues, ligand for ADAM22 that positively regulates synaptic transmission mediated by AMPA-type glutamate receptors.
Note
Sodium azide may react with lead and copper plumbing to form explosive metal azides. Flush with large amounts of water during disposal.
