Description
EAR2(ERBAL2, NR2F6) is a member of orphan nuclear receptor. No ligand has been reported. NAR2 transcribed as a 2.5kb mRNA. Expression is detected in fetal liver, placenta, heart, muscle and pancreas. No expression was detected in lung and brain. Interaction with the transcription factor CBFA2 reveals a negative regulator of granulocyte differentiation.
Origin
Produced in BALB/c mouse ascites after inoculation with hybridoma of mouse myeloma cells (NS-1) and spleen cells derived from a BALB/c mouse immunized with E.coli-expressed recombinant human EAR2 (2-50 aa).
Notes
Sodium azide may react with lead and copper plumbing to form explosive metal azides. Flush with large amounts of water during disposal.
